Tesa C. de Vela

Tesa C. de Vela is the Associate Director of Isis International. She has a Masters of Arts degree in Women and Development from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts from Maryknoll College, Philippines. She currently teaches gender and development courses at the International Studies Department of Miriam College, Philippines. She is the proud mother of a five year old girl named Lian Laya. She likes watching independent films.

She has a Master of Arts degree in Women and Development from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.

Tesa de Vela is a feminist in her own mind. She reaches at the International Studies Department of Miriam College, Philippines. Tesa would like to thank Mary Racelis, Sosamma Chacko and IlSoon, Kim for graciously giving their time and sharing with her a part of their lives. (2000)
