Betsy Hartmann

Betsy Hartmann is the Director of the Population and Development Program and professor of development studies at Hampshire College. A longstanding activist in the international women’s health movement, she is the author of Reproductive Rights and Wrongs: The Global Politics of Population Control, two political thrillers, and other books and articles about development, climate change, and security.
