Gamani Corea

Gamani Corea, a Sri Lankan economist, was Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) from 1974-84. Currently, he is chairman of the ad-hoc panel of economists appointed by the Non-Aligned Movement to study the position of developing countries in the world economy. (1998)
