Here we are again at last! This double issue of Women in Action corresponds to numbers one and two for 1990. It is late but we hope that you will find it worth the wait.

As we announced in our last issue of Women in Action, number 4 of 1989, we are in the process of transferring the work of the Isis International office in Rome to Asia.

Our good news is that we have been able to decide on a location for the new office: the Philippines! We are very excited about the prospect of opening this new office. We believe that this will bring new energy and perspectives to the work and enable us to strengthen and expand our activities.

We are now busy preparing for our move to the Philippines. As soon as we have our new address there we will let you know. In the meantime, please use the following address:

Many of you are still sending your publications and letters to our old address at Via San Saba in Rome. Soon the post office is going to stop forwarding the mail and we would be very sorry not to receive your letters and materials.

During this transition period, we are doing our best to keep bringing out the Isis International publications and to answer your letters. However, there may be some delays, because of all the extra work involved in opening our new office in Asia. Please bear with us and rest assured that you will be hearing from us, even if we are late.

We are delighted that you are still returning the questionnaires we sent you some months ago about our activities and those you would like to participate in. There has been an overwhelmingly favorable response to the transfer of Isis International from Rome to Asia. Your comments have been very encouraging and inspiring to us. We are carefully noting your responses and requests and hope to be able to fulfill them as soon as we are set up in our new Asian office.
