Funds for women

The Marie-Schlei Association is a funding body in the Federal Republic of Germany which helps women in the Third World. Projects from cooperatives of women, women's associations and groups which want to create places for the professional training of women and improve their technical and professional skills in order to help them participate in the development of their country will be considered for funding. They should have short-term comprehensive goals, be small scale and should try to overcome the poverty of women in answering their basic needs and those of their families. The Association has so far funded 20 projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
